hmmm…

Today’s my ex-husband’s birthday.   We’ve been divorced more than twice as long as we were married.   I haven’t thought about him in ages – well probably since last Feb 2.   Funny how the human mind works, isn’t it?  I wonder about it some times.

I wonder a lot.

Just today I had lunch with a dear woman.   As we so often do when we get together – we swapped stories and lessons and wondered about stuff.   We didn’t really come up with answers to our wonderings.   I think that’s how it is with wondering.  It seldom garners results.  There always seems to be three dots after it…

In fact, I notice that when I tell someone I’m wondering about something and they try to give me an answer, I’m often disappointed.   I guess I just like to wonder.

I often wonder what my dogs are thinking – or IF they’re thinking.   hmmm…

I wonder why cars are parked in driveways and then we drive on parkways.  hmmm…

I wonder why my five ounces of shampoo was confiscated in airport security and the lady next to me got to keep her twelve inch metal knitting needles. hmmm…

I wonder who gave Punxsutawney Phil all that power.  hmmm…

Yep, I wonder about a lot.

How about you?  If you’re a wonderER, what are you wondering lately?
