184 – 220 of 2012 wOws!

My “word” for 2012 is wOw!           wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations.  It’s a word we can use when no other will work.   Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week.  By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012wOw! moments.    I hope you’ll have spotted (and maybe even shared) close to that, too.

  1. I say wow reading your wows!…you lift me higher than I can lift myself..which I guess is what a friend does, but you are soooo good at it my dear!….I have found myself saying wow a lot
a pair of red tailed hawks circling me while walking
    that I still HAVE it!
that someone thinks I am beautiful!
the sound of the wind coming up Pages Creek yesterday…
that I am a dang good shot with a circa 1970 Ted Williams BB gun!
    that you are my friend!

  2. 1) My crazy co- workers who told me to stay in bed
    2) a Patient care tech named Celeste
    3) Adjustable thermostat to make my room cold
    4) Parents who are still kicking up their heels and enjoying life
    5) Hearing from a long ago friend
    6) Loving care from Dr B whose payment is a Americano grande with extra shot of expresso that make my car smell for days
    7) a cold day in Florida for some hot 16 bean soup
    8) a weekly blog that I look forward to even if I read it late in the day
    9) God’s grace
