  1. 1. Rush Limbaugh’s remarks to the young woman who testified before Congress on the need for insurancce coverage of contraceptives.
    2. The advertisers who pulled their spots from his show in response to those remarks.
    3. A quote on the state of U.S. politics: “Most people seem to simply want [a candidate] who will articulate their hatreds.”
    4. That that is NOT what most people I know want.

  2. Watching my daughters go through scary, difficult times and KNOWING they are surrounded by God’s love and that God has their backs when I can’t be there.

  3. Watching the video that my daughter just sent me about Joseph Kony and the Invisible Children. I can’t believe I have been unaware of the situation. I want to get my students involved. It takes @ 1/2 hour to watch, but you HAVE to see it! http://youtu.be/Y4MnpzG5Sqc
(Also, having my daughter growing into such a compassionate young woman has me truly wowed—and proud!)

  4. Wanda, we humans are funny critters, eh? wOw!
