1908 -1945 in a year of 2012 wOws!

My “word” for 2012 is wOw!

wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations.  It’s a word we can use when no other will work.   Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week.  By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012 wOw! moments.

I hope you’ll have spotted (and maybe even shared) close to that, too.

  1. * fun fabric turning up in my mailbox
    * ‘shrink wrapping’ quilt batting for storage–billow to brick in 10 seconds!
    * finding a hand-written research paper from my 8th Grade year
    * beautiful wedding ceremony for Samantha & Kevin

  2. Finding peace within the rhythms of my body
Gratitude for my grandchildren and sorrow for the parents and grandparents of little ones who died.
Smiling about being told I DON’T have pneumonia or bronchitis.
Noticing how the disorganized piles and mess in my office reflect the state of my mind and my soul in 2012.
How much I appreciate, Lisa, that each week you prod me to notice the wOws.

  3. I say to you, my dear Lisa,WOW. You are such a wonderfully positive person. Just all of us reading your words should make us all see all of the WOW things we take for granted in our lives and not be recognizing the importance of what is surrounding us.
Thank-you for all of the inspiring messages you have sent during 2012. Happy 2013 to you. Love ya, Annette
